On 26 November 2025, in Room G of the Maldura Complex at the University of Padua, the seminar “Sovranità, statualità e spazi urbani: le case consolari nel Mediterraneo moderno” will take place. The event, organized within the course History of Political Institutions, will be led by Professor Cristina Setti and will feature Mathieu Grenet from Université Toulouse II Jean Jaurès.
The seminar will offer an in-depth look at the role of consular houses in the Mediterranean during the early modern period, analyzing their political, institutional, and urban significance.
